Camp Ormsby is located in Roaring Spring, PA. We have nine Shetland Sheepdogs. Noah is 11 and a blue merle. Colby is 10 and a tri. Sage is 10 and a bi-blue. Sprite is six and a tri. Beemer and Redi are sable and white and are litter siblings. Elmo is four and is a blue merle color headed white. Petey is three and is a sable and white. Derby is one and is a tri. We love the shelties and they enjoy playing with each other as well as us. We also train and show shelties in AKC venues.

Don, aka dad, pap, or kennel boy, enjoys hunting, fishing, and caring for shelties here and in the "Hollow" for Jana Shetland Sheepdogs. Don, now retired from the railroad, has had several surgeries and hunting and fishing days have been slim lately. Darlene, aka mom, gram, or Dar, enjoys computers, playing with the shelties, and watching Kasen play and smile. Dar, now retired from teaching Business classes at Northern Bedford County High School, had two knee replacements, helps others instruct agility classes at the Altoona Area Kennel Association, Inc., is currently secretary of AAKA and is a member of PSEA-Retired. We both enjoy taking rides with a special friend, Nancy, and looking for wildlife. On our travels, we've been fortunate enough to see numerous sites, including deer, herons, coyotes, eagles, fish, cats, numerous bird species and a bear. |
